During a car ride the other day we were having a family discussion about right and wrong, making good choices versus bad choices, what behaviors warranted a thumbs up and which might mean a thumbs down.

Saying please--thumbs up.

Yelling at our sister--thumbs down.

Going to sacrament meeting--thumbs up.

Helping Mommy set the table--thumbs up.

You get the idea.

So, we are continuing the discussion and the kids are doing pretty well answering the questions. Then I ask another simple question like "What about hitting your friend?" Landon, without hesitation and with complete confidence says "No, that is choosing the left."
